Education and experience are the core of who we are at Above All Else. In the construction field we personally saw the past decline in craftsmanship for lack of new tradespeople becoming educated and experienced through apprenticeship programs. We still see that dilemma today, especially when inspecting new builds. Sadly, true craftsmen are a dying breed. We know that experience and education make the difference.
As you see in our credentials, we have advanced educational credentials and experience beyond what is required to become a licensed Home Inspector. We are huge advocates of education and believe that education can be free. Well, sort of. One can learn pretty much learn anything for free, if they put their mind to it. Hence, we are in constant study to stay abreast with current topics and standards.
Master Inspector, Lonnie Beeman has been twice awarded (in 2014 and 2020) the Gerry Beaumont Educational Achievement Award, for academic excellence. The State of Arkansas Home Inspector licensing Board requires that licensed Inspectors complete 14 hours of Continuing Education (CE) every year, and Lonnie consistently exceeds those requirements by completing more than 50 hours of CE.
You may be familiar with the proverb “A wise man is strong, and a man of knowledge enhances his strength–Proverbs 24:5.” Thus, Above All Else Inspections is an InterNACHI® Training Partner. InterNACHI® School (internachi.edu) is the only accredited home inspector college that provides free memberships to their students. InterNACHI is the only home inspection school that has been accredited by the Department of Education.
